Dr. Karen Butler-Colbert

Meet Dr. Karen Butler-Colbert - Founder and CEO of⁠ W2 WELLNESS and Weight Loss Center.⁠ Karen’s approach to wellness is an innovative method towards a realistic lifestyle for sustainable weight loss and wellness.

Prior to opening W2 Wellness and Weight Loss and developing her successful K Method, Karen founded a nonprofit healthcare clinic providing high quality, low cost reproductive health care to at risk teens and young adults and served as the Chairman of the Board of her clinic. Karen has received awards recognizing her dedication to the healthcare field including The Centennial Achievement Award from Georgetown University and The Young Alumnae for Excellence in Clinical Practice from the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Butler-Colbert holds a BSN with honors from Georgetown University and an MSN with honors from the University of Pennsylvania and a DNP from Johns Hopkins University.

Lovingly known as the “K Method”

The W2 Plan weight loss program, known as the K Method, is geared for a realistic lifestyle for sustainable long-term weight loss and wellness that can be maintained. The program consists of the use of FDA approved medications, vitamin B-12 and Lipo B injections and supplements, vitamin and dietary supplements, exercise and dietary guidelines along with support.
